"Creatives Archive? Is that some sort of metaphor?" Not exactly -- but it's cooler than you think.

Welcome to Creatives Archive -- where we push your favorite underground artists into the limelight and into your playlists, all while getting a closer connection with the masterminds behind the music.

Creatives Archive was the solution to the problem I kept coming across: there are more talented artists than what I can count, and just talking about them in passing isn't enough.

Now don’t get me wrong; I listen to a good mix of genres. My playlist will have you feeling all types of angsty with some Radiohead and in the next moment floating in the breeze to Frederic Chopin.

However, there's something special happening in rap right now, and people need to witness it. #Rap is one of the fastest-evolving genres, and keeping up with the changes are all a part of the joy from listening.

While I enjoy rappers who are already in the spotlight, I have a fond appreciation for the #artist that either goes unnoticed or doesn't get the flowers they deserve.

A Little Bit About Me

My name is Abigail and I am a freelance journalist from North Carolina, born and raised.

My love for writing and music date back to being a mere toddler. My writing days began as soon as I learned to read and write. I started out writing little stories out of copy paper from the printer, and from then on I’ve been an avid #writer.

My love for music might as well be a trait I inherited from my father, one of the biggest music gurus I know. His eclectic music taste got passed right on down to me, as well as his fond love and appreciation for music.

Education

I graduated from Wake Early College of Health and Science with an Associate's of Arts degree and a high school diploma in 2022. Currently, I am an Aggie Trailblazer Commitment Scholar (ACTS) at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T). I am working toward a bachelor's in Computer Graphics Technology (UX).

Experience

I'm a two-time published writer whose goal is to go for more. Though my writing experience wasn't always related to music, I am working to shift gears a bit. To read more about my experience and published works, check out my portfolio website.
